Mandeville City Hall, 3301 E Causeway Approach
Our next Old Tyme Singing School is scheduled! Make plans now to join us for another great day of new friends, old traditions and another legendary old fashioned Potluck Dinner -On-The Grounds lunch!. All singings are open to the public; singers, beginners and listeners - everyone is welcome! There is NO COST and NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY so plan to bring a friend and join in! We always start the day with Shape Note Singing From Scratch, for ALL singers with special attention to brand new visitors and singers who would like a refresher on Shape Note singing. The only thing you'll need to bring is a love for music and a desire to sing (or listen!)
All materials will be provided; song books will be available for loan or sale. I promise that we will not run out of books this time!
Please check back soon for details and then mark your calendars
If you're coming, please email us and put "I'll Be There!" in the subject line
If you can help out (set up, make a potluck dish, etc) email us and put "I'll Help" in the subject line
If you want to showcase your best home cookin' or just bring some chips, please post it on the February 7th Potluck Page (see prior potluck pages for ideas!
